As a student employed at the Student Help Desk you are working with several thousands of dollars of equipment. It is important to treat this position as a real career and practice behaviors you would in the real world. Your pay will be one credit per semester.
· Attendance- Just like the real world you have a limited number of sick days. You may only miss 10 days the entire school year or you will be removed from the program. Attendance is very important.
· Grades- Grades are very important. If a student receives one F on a 9 week midterm report card, the student must sit in study hall to get their grade up. When the grade goes up, they may return to the student help desk.In addition if a student is on the F list for three consecutive weeks in a grading period or receives a F on a 9 week report card; the student will be permanently removed from the help desk.
· Documentation- It is important to remember to be professional when documenting your work. Please document everything you do to the student computers.
